For this recipe, it’s suggested that you let the beef deydrate for 3-5 hours. Keep in mind that the longer you dry the meat, the tougher it becomes. This recipe makes for a very moist jerky – so watch the time you dry the meat to make sure it stays lightly moist. Ingredients:
- 2 lbs – Round Steak Strips
- 1 Tbsp – Kosher Salt
- 2 tsp – Ground Pepper
- 2 Tbsp – Orange Juice
- 1 Tbsp Sriracha sauce
Directions:
Place steak strips in a large Zip-Lock bag. In a large mixing bowl, mix salt, pepper, orange juice, and sriracha sauce. Mix completely. Pour sauce mixture into the zip-lock bag over the round steak strilps. Zip the bag shut, and massage the bag to coat the steak strips.
Remove steak strips from bag, and lay on a wire rack that is placed over a cookie sheet. Bake at 200 degrees for 3-5 hours
