Diet & Exercise Tips for Loosing Belly FatWhat’s the first place most people gain fat? Their belly. Where’s the last place they loose it? Again, their belly. It’s the part of the body nearly everybody is unhappy with, and wish they could loose that fat. But, just eating less, or working out more, isn’t always going to give the results we want. So, here’s some diet & exercise tips for loosing belly fat, and getting that figure we all want!

First – you’re not destined to be fat. But, starving yourself isn’t the way to do it. Your body will believe it’s going to have less resources to work with, and will actually save fat rather than burn it. So – try these things – not just one or two, but all of them – and incorporate them into your daily fitness regieme.

  1. Early morning brisk walks – before you eat! Research is showing that being out in the morning sun may help synchronize your metabolism, keeping you from putting on fat. If you think about it – during the winter, you have less light, and in colder climates, you needed to pack on fat to keep warm through the winter months. We now live in climate controlled environments, but our genes don’t know that. So – getting a brisk workout in the morning sun fools our body into thinking we’re “fine” and don’t need extra fat.
  1. Steel Cut Oats for breakfast – You’re getting fiber that feeds your guts healthy bacteria while reducing blood collesteral. This triggers the production of butyrate, a fatty acid that reduces fat-causing inflammation. And it also helps to keep your hunger level down so you don’t overeat!
  1. Eat more eggs – good protein not only takes more energy to digest than carbs (helping to actually burn fat) – but also fills you up so you eat less!
  1. Eat wild salmon – not farm raised salmon. Farm raised salmon tastes pretty much the same, but is missing all the nutrients, as well as missing Omega 3’s (healthy fat) – but has an overwhelming amount of Omega 6 fat (the bad kind). Wild salmon may cost more – but it’s much better for your fat loss efforts!
