The concept is pretty simple. Start with 30 seconds at a moderate pace – say, about 50% of your maximum effort. Then, after 30 seconds, go as hard as you can for 30 seconds. Then back off to 50% for 30 seconds, then again go at full effort for 30 seconds. Keep repeating these intervals 5-8 times your first time. Take a 3-5 minute cool down break. Then do another 5-8 minute block of 30 on / 30 off intervals. Your total time here is no more than 15 minutes.
