Build your own home gym – Part 2

PowerBlock Fitness Equipment an Innovative Option

Yesterday, we talked about building out your own home gym – starting small with the TRX Home Suspension Training Kit. But, as you build your home gym, it will naturally need to evolve as your workouts also evolve.

The next step up – is to add weights to your mix. But, not every one has space in their home for a full set of dumbells or barbells. There’s a solution to this problem – adjustable weights!

PowerBlocks adjustable dumbbells and kettlebells are the perfect solution to the space issues you might have in your home. Why trip over 15 pairs of dumbbells when you can buy a single pair of space-saving PowerBlocks that essentially replaces 615 pounds of free weights? PowerBlock’s dumbell starter set ranges from 5 to 40 pounds per hand (and can later be upgraded to 70 pounds). PowerBlocks also has a barbell set that works similar to their adjustable dumbbells – and if you want to add kettlebells to your workout, there’s a set of PowerBlock Kettlebells as well!

Lastly, to get the most of your workouts, you’ll want to add a bench. You can start with a simple flat bench like the TuffStuff CFB-305 Flat Bench, or go up a bit with an adjustable bench like the TuffStuff CLB-325 Flat/ Incline Ladder Bench which allows you to target more muscle groups.
