Strength
The frame is made from heavy gauge 11 gauge oval steel tubing with a tough powder-coat finish. Sitting on heavy duty rubber feet, the SHR5 Centurion Smith-Half Rack is incredibly stable. Plus, the wide base accommodates benches and accessories.

Many other smith machines use bushings which cannot match the smooth feel of true linear ball bearings, but the SHR5 Centurion Smith-Half Rack Smith bar glides effortlessly on linear ball bearings to match the feel of a free weight workout. And, solid steel guide bars provide the strength and precision for a perfect workout.

Safety
Work out safely with bar catch rods, and bar racking positioned at 6″ intervals. The bar catch securely locks into place with a twist of the wrist, allowing you to safely work out alone.
