This allows the lifter to drop the bar after completing a lift, or if a lift is missed, they can drop the weights without harming the bar, surrounding equipment, or flooring.

Apollo Rubber Olympic Bumper ROB Plates are also perfect for CrossFit facilities, since fast lifts are an essential part of CrossFit workouts, and dropping the bar is quicker than lowering it. Bumper plates are also much quieter than metal plates which makes them excellent for corporate workout facilities or in a personal training studio. The lower bounce means getting back to the bar faster without wasting time letting the bar settle or waiting for it to stop bouncing around.
