The TuffStuff PPL-160 Leg Press features a center pivot and front loading design for superior biomechanics and balanced weight distribution through out the range of motion. Crafted from the finest materials, the TuffStuff PPL-160 Leg Press is ideal for outfitting any commercial weight room, recreation center, apartment complex or professional gym.
The TuffStuff PPL-160 Leg Press is designed to strengthen the quadriceps and other leg muscles. Sometimes called a “seated leg press” or “machine squat press,” the leg press mainly works the quadriceps, but also strengthens the glutes, hamstrings, calves and shins.
Using the highest quality 2″ tubular and 2″ x 3″ rectangular steel, the TuffStuff PPL-160 Leg Press is engineered and manufactured at TuffStuff’s California-based headquarters. Full commercial quality, all products in the Proformance Plus strength line are built to withstand heavy use by serious lifters.
Simple to use and adjust, the TuffStuff PPL-160 Leg Press includes a center pivot and front loading for superior biomechanics and balanced weight distribution through out the range of motion. The pivoting foot plate maintains correct foot positioning, while the unique pre-stretch control handle allows low impact take-off start position. It comes equipped with an adjustable seat carriage sliding on two 1-1/2” guide rails fitted with self-aligning linear bearing system and multiple back support angle adjustments.
The TuffStuff PPL-160 Leg Press includes upholstery custom crafted from Premium Bolta Sport vinyl, with a PreFixx protective finish. It is mildew resistant, anti-microbial, oil and sulfide stain resistant and resists UV lightfastness. Meets or exceeds most flammability test requirements. All upholsteries are double-stitched with “hidden” borders.
